The Story Behind The Name
The name Stump Jump pays homage to a significant South Australian invention - the Stump Jump plough. As well as clearing the land around McLaren Vale, it was adopted world- wide in the late 19th century because of its ability to ride over stumps and gnarled roots, saving valuable time and energy.
The Characteristics
The nose is packed with sweet stone fruits , dried citrus, quince and honey. On the palate the wines displays added elements of marmalade and guava. The bubbles add lift and cut through the sticky viscosity. This is a fun wine to be served chilled with dessert, cheese or fresh fruit.
