d'Arenberg Reviews
Outstanding Winery- regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity.
'Nothing succeeds like success. Few operations in Australia fit this dictum better than d’Arenberg, which has kept its near-100-year-old heritage while moving into the 21st century with flair and élan. There is no question that its past, present and future revolve around its considerable portfolio of richly robed red wines, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and Grenache being the cornerstones, but with 24 varietal labels spanning the gulf between Roussanne and Mourvèdre. The quality of the wines is unimpeachable, the prices logical and fair. It has a profile in both the UK and and the US which far larger companies would love to have.'
McLaren Vale- The Innovators
"The result of their passion for winemaking is evident in every bottle of d'Arenberg. The art of being different isn't just a slogan, its a business philosophy and a way of life for d'Arry, Chester and the team."
World Winery of the Year 2005
“Aussie winery d’Arenberg dazzled wine lovers in 2005 with a wide arrange of strangely named wines brimming with character. Among notables in 2005 were d’Arenberg’s The Derelict Vineyard 2002 (90 points), The Bonsai Vine 2001 (90 points) The Footbolt Shiraz 2002 (90 points) and a white, The Money Spider Roussanne 2004 (90 points) The entire stable is worthy of exploration and has developed a huge fan base in Canada.”
