The Four Musketeers Red
One for all and all for one! This quartet of wines is the ‘backbone’ of the d'Arenberg range. They date back to the early 60's when d'Arry first released wines under the red stripe label. Sure they've had a few label design tweaks since then, and the d'Arry's Original is no longer allowed to be called 'Burgundy' but essentially these wines are the heart of d'Arenberg, past and present. They are true to their region, show varietal typicity and regularly feature on 'best value' wine lists around the world.
Why 'four musketeers' well, it’s a d'Arenberg quirk... originally it was the three musketeers but then Chester's love affair with Grenache reached new heights in the 1990's and along came The Custodian.
