Meet the Author 'The Story Behind the Stripe- 100 years of d'Arenberg'
FREE COMMUNITY EVENT: 11am -12.30pm, Friday 13th July. Osborn Road, McLaren Vale.
To coincide with the 100 year milestone, the Osborn family commissioned historian Fay Woodhouse to research and write the family’s history. d’Arry Osborn’s late brother Rowen had been researching the family history for many years and Fay worked closely with him to bring it to publication. The result is a beautiful book containing some fascinating insights not only into Osborn and d’Arenberg life but also Australian family life on the land for the last century.
Over tea coffee or a glass of DADD guests will have the opportunity to meet Fay and hear about her experiences of writing a family history. d’Arry and Chester Osborn will be on hand to bring to life some of the featured stories and there will be the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book via our good friends from Port Willunga, Shakespeare’s Books.
